PhD, HSPP, LP
I created Modern Grace because I saw too many girls being taught to be "nice" at the expense of their own voice. In my clinical work, I kept meeting bright, capable girls who had learned to shrink—to prioritize others' comfort over their own boundaries. This course is what I wish existed: a way to teach social confidence that empowers rather than diminishes.
Specialized training and real-world experience to support your family.
Completed advanced postdoctoral fellowship training in pediatric psychology, specializing in child development and family mental health.
Licensed Psychologist (LP) and credentialed Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP) with specialized expertise in pediatric care.
Contributed peer-reviewed research to professional journals on child development, behavioral health, and evidence-informed parenting strategies.
Extensive clinical experience across healthcare systems, schools, and private practice—bringing practical solutions to real parenting challenges.
I created Modern Grace because I saw a gap: parents wanted to teach their daughters social skills and confidence, but the available resources felt either outdated ("be a good girl") or too casual to be meaningful.
This course bridges that gap. It's grounded in developmental psychology and evidence-informed practices, but delivered in a way that's warm, practical, and empowering—for both parents and daughters.
"Good manners are not about being 'nice' or quiet. They are about awareness, respect, and agency."

The principles that shape everything I create.
All strategies and recommendations are grounded in current psychological research and best practices.
Content is designed to be immediately applicable in real-world situations your family faces.
I approach parenting and child development with empathy and understanding—no judgment here.
The goal is to build confidence and capability, not dependence or compliance.
I consider the whole child and family system, not just isolated behaviors.
Strategies that work in today's world, respecting both tradition and progress.
